To say I was super nervous before this Family Portrait Session in Ojai, was an understatement. The reason for my nervous feelings was because Mom and Dad are wedding photographers whose style I admire very much. Thankfully, it turns out my worries were unnecessary as I learned that photographers are the BEST people to photograph. They arrived perfectly styled and ready to play.

There was so much love and connection in the family, and the sweet siblings were game for getting silly and being playful with each other and their parents, the love and connection is very apparent in the images.

The Dad of these sweet kiddos shared with me how important it felt to get some great pictures of his whole family together as his daughter is planning on moving to NY once she graduates. This really got me thinking about how the older your kiddos get the less time you get to spend together as a whole family, especially when kids start to head to college and work. However this family made it work for everyone to come together and spend some quality playful time with each other. They now have some beautiful images, ones that their older children will cherish when they fly further from the nest.
