Due to the current health crisis all sessions are held outdoors. To provide a beautiful and dramatic backdrop, session are held in meadows surrounded by mountains, river and creek bottoms, lakes or at the beach. For the prettiest light, sessions are held at sunrise or sunset and are approximately 60 minutes long.
An important part of the process is working with clients to choose a wardrobe that will work well with the surrounding environment, think popping colors against golden meadows.

FAQs
Yes! Helping families with their session styling is one of my favorite parts of the process. A well thought out wardrobe is one of the factors that contribute to beautiful portraits.
can you help us choose outfits?
This is a concern many parents have and it's understandable why. Together us grown ups will meet your children where they are at, and give them opportunities to move their bodies, explore, and have breaks when they need them. Some of my favorite images are of families where grown ups are sharing a quiet moment together while their children are climbing on stumps in the back ground.
what if my kids don't cooperate?
Sessions can can last anywhere between 45 to 90 minutes. Sometimes we get everything we need really quickly, sometimes we need to take a few breaks for snacks or nursing.
