I met this family for the first time at the Douglas Family Preserve where I photographed them for a Maternity Portrait Session. They were the sweetest family and I connected with their little boy who was so playful and kind. It was an honor to get to photograph them in their home recently in Santa Barbara, their beautiful little baby girl was adorable and the love her older brother had for her was immediately apparent as he doted on her with much affection.

As always I worked with this family to make the session as relaxed and as stress free as possible, by allowing time for breaks to feed and to change. I captured nothing but true tender moments and I hope that these parents will cherish the memories of the first few days with their baby girl because very soon these early days and nights will seem like a blur of feeding, burping and changing diapers. When this Mama looks at these pictures in two months or two years, she will immediately be brought back to the smell and the tender brand new touch of her little girl.
