As a Santa Barbara Family Photographer, one of my favorite locations to have portrait sessions is the Douglas Family Preserve, because of it’s variety of beauty from the tall shady Eucalyptus trees to the epic ocean views from which you can get the best silhouette images! It’s also easy to get to and has a decent amount of parking in close by neighborhoods. Thats why it felt like a no brainer to have a maternity shoot there with this sweet family.
This beautiful Mama reached out to me when I sent out a recent model call for pregnant ladies and their families, and I’m so glad she did because I loved every minute I spent with them, and their son was such a joy to photograph. What made this session super fun was when a lizard decided to join our session, I was so happy to document this fun and exciting moment, the boy loved the lizard hopping up his sleeve and laughed in delight! I hope you enjoy viewing this session as much as I loved capturing memories with them during a golden hour session.
